| Variation recipe | | Cheese-onion baguette | | | | Ingredients | 500 grams of Cottage Bread Mix – White 300 ml lukewarm water 1 finely chopped onion grated cheese |
| | | Preparation method | - Knead the dough for 15 minutes in a mixer or 20 minutes by hand, or use your breadmaker’s “dough” programme.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces and let them rise for 15 minutes under cling film or baking paper.
- Roll the 4 dough pieces into lumps of dough 40 cm long and lay them onto a lightly greased baking tray, leaving space between them.
- Let the 4 baguettes rise for 15 minutes at room temperature under cling film or baking paper.
- Cut the top of the dough along its length with a serrated knife.
- Let the cheese & onion baguettes rise for ½ hour at room temperature.
